Local Data Storage
The app stores the following data locally on your device:
- Selected Cryptocurrencies: Your chosen cryptocurrencies for calculation
- Theme Preference: Your light/dark mode setting
- Language Preference: Your selected app language
This data is stored only on your device using AsyncStorage and is never transmitted to our servers or any third parties.
3. Third-Party Services
CoinGecko API
We use the CoinGecko API to fetch current cryptocurrency prices. When the app requests price data, your IP address may be visible to CoinGecko as part of standard web requests. We recommend reviewing CoinGecko's Privacy Policy.
React Native Community NetInfo
We use @react-native-community/netinfo to check your network connection status. This check is performed locally on your device and does not transmit any data.
4. Data Security
Since all user preferences are stored locally on your device, the security of this data depends on your device's security settings. We recommend:
- Using device encryption
- Setting a strong device passcode
- Keeping your operating system up to date
5. Children's Privacy
Our app does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13. The app is safe for all ages to use.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
All data is stored locally on your device. You can delete all app data by:
- Uninstalling the app from your device, or
- Clearing app data through your device settings
7. Your Rights
Since we don't collect or store your personal data on external servers, there is no data for us to Access, Correct, Delete, or Transfer. You have complete control over your local data through your device settings.
